I raked the driveway today. Not sure if the maple tree is ours or the neighbors, but we got a fair share of the fallen leaves & are going to use them as mulch in the garden.

Oh, wow! Sugar maples in fall — that’s one item I really miss in the SW, though I discovered that we actually do have a maple that turns bright red. It’s a small tree and only grows in well watered crevices in the mountains.
