Here’s another shot I took last night by accident. I messed up my camera settings and blew out the sky all around the dandelion so everything came out white. I kind of liked it, though.
I added an overall tint to even it out a bit and then decided to go totally greeting-card and added the quote.
I’m still thinking about the quote — trying to find something else to use.
We stopped by Camp Adair this evening to shoot some photos as the sun went down. My attention was captured by the dandelions.
Now I’m all itchy from lying down in the grass… ha.

Took these last night — again from the passenger seat of the car — as we drove home to Albany from Independence.
This is the Wheelhouse building in Albany. Got there a little too late for really good sunset photos, but these fantastic windows still created lovely reflections.
At first I was uninspired by the sunset last night. We’d just missed being able to shoot an amazing (double!) rainbow and there didn’t seem to be a whole lot going on with the clouds. Then I decided to shoot from a lower perspective… and that made all the difference.
Taken back in February in our friend’s backyard in Harrisburg. It was a grey, gloomy day, but then the sun came bursting through and lit up these trees.
Taken with the Droid, Retro Camera app, Little Orange Box.
My friend Susan posted a remark on Facebook this morning about Cambria and Cayucos, which reminded me of a trip we took to that area back in 2005.
Not the best shot of the pier, but I still kind of like it for its moodiness. To see a stunning, and more recent, photo of the pier with a gorgeous sunset behind it, check out this photographer’s blog. He also has several other photos of the central coastline that are worth the click over.
